Northfield Maker Space
Young People from Northfield who were interested in ‘tinkering’ with each other’s bikes in an attempt to fix minor breakages would come along to Pop Up Streetsport sessions at Allan Douglas Park and established a Maker Space in the Community Centre. They worked with a tattooist to design their own ‘tags’ through the use of technology & drawing. These tags were produced as vinyl’s and applied to their belongings; bikes, scooters and smart phones.
